Margot was one of those kids at school who was the first to jump up when the teacher announced ‘Time for reading out loud'! And she still loves it.
The prospect of a new script and the chance to work it with the engineers, producers and clients is a true pleasure, not like work at all.
She is well known for her easy manner, warm accessible voice and a versatility of style that comes from deep experience.
She is equally at home with retail as she is with straight reads and corporates. Her voice is flexible and her acting talents strong. Animated characters? All in a days work.
She started her career in live to air television comedy where she was called upon five nights a week, to do the full gamut of accents and characters – some quite bizarre!!
She then moved into radio comedy with several series of ‘Don’t Get Off Ya Bike’, followed by lots of StoryWorld for the ABC. You can throw comedy and character at her, and she will lap it up. |
