Stig trained as an actor in New York with Uta Hagen and has appeared in a variety of theatre productions, feature films and television programs. His acting ability provides the foundation for his extraordinary voice over talent that has seen his career span 25 years and include thousands of radio and TV commercials. Stig has a fresh, youthful quality to his voice that brings energy and believability to his commercial reads and a natural sincerity that is perfect for TV, corporate narration and documentaries. His vocal dexterity gives him the ability to create unique characters which makes him ideal for animation. He was the voice of Bob Morrison, Lil’ Elvis Jones and the Dodo bird. In addition, Stig has narrated over 200 audio books including AC/DC’s maximum rock n’ roll and Tim Winton’s ‘That Eye The Sky” for which he received a TDK audio book award for best narrator. His comic timing and creative flair have earned him the reputation of a craftsman who does more than just say the words on the page. Stig has a great love of the voice over studio and the process of creating outstanding audio in everything from a 10 second billboard to a 90 minute documentary. |
